Twin Theatres
This two-cinema theatre is
quick to bring new release movies to our community. Enjoy a wide variety
of snacks in a cozy old-style theatre on Main Street. Call 375-1280 for

Wayne Community Theatre
This
community group performs three times a year. A spring play, a musical in
the summer, and a fall play. Children’s theatre workshops are also
held. The public is encouraged to attend these performances and the
location of ticket sales are announced on KTCH radio and in the Wayne
Herald. Try-outs for these plays are also announced and crewmembers are
always needed in addition to the actors and actresses. For more

Melodee Lanes
This
12-lane bowling alley offers affordable entertainment for the entire
family. Bumper bowling is available for the beginning bowler, as well as
league for the more experienced. League participants are encouraged to
sign up by August 1st for either Junior (7 to 22 years old), Men’s,
Women’s, or Senior competition. Food & Beverages are available.
Other activities available include pool, games, and darts. Call

from the municipal swimming pool.
Wayne State College
Activities

& Gold Series – Guest performers
and entertainers delight audiences of all ages. Advanced ticket purchases
are usually required because these performances are frequently sold out.
Nordstrandt
Visual Arts Gallery – The gallery,
located in the Peterson Fine Arts Center, features art shows throughout the

Collegiate
Athletic Events –NCAA Division II
competitions in the Northern Sun Conference occur throughout the school year in
a wide variety of events, including football, soccer, indoor/outdoor track,
softball, baseball, basketball, volleyball, and golf.
